Exchange coupling in the correlated electronic states of amorphous GdFe films

The bulk sensitivity of hard x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy in combination with circularly polarized radiation of the P09 beamline at PETRA III enables the investigation of the magnetic properties of capped films. We have determined the temperature dependence of the magnetic circular dichroism in the Fe 2$p$ and in the Gd 3$d$ states in amorphous GdFe films. The magnetic dichroism reflects the stronger temperature dependence of Gd moments compared to Fe moments in agreement with mean-field models. Analysis of fit on implants of chrome cobalt versus titanium frameworks made by cad / cam milling

Background This study analyzed the degree of passive and vertical fit achieved in frameworks using either cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr) or titanium (Ti) implant-supported fixed partial dentures ( FPDs) fabricated with a CAD/CAM milling technique. Material and Methods 33 3-unit FDPs, 17 of Co-Cr metal alloy (test group) and 16 of Ti (control group), were manufactured with two implants by copy milled technology. Optical microscopy was used to measure passive fit (PF) and vertical fit (VF) in all frameworks. The PF was evaluated by using the Single Screw test and the VF with the screws tightened at 20 Ncm. This review accounts for the most recent and significant research results from the literature on the design and synthesis of 1,2,3-triazole compounds and their usefulness as molecular well-defined corrosion inhibitors for steels, copper, iron, aluminum, and their alloys in several aggressive media. Of particular interest are the 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazole derivatives prepared in a regioselective manner under copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) click reactions.
